Andy Gardiner Fundraising for The Charlie and Carter Foundation!

Andy Gardiner is a finalist in Mr Gay Great Britain with the final taking place in Alnwick on August Bank Holiday Monday this year.

As part of the competition, the contestants have to fundraise for Pride North and The Charlie and Carter Foundation. Andy has so far raised over £1,000 with a hang tough challenge and is now doing a Grand Raffle to raise more funds.

We would like to thank everyone who has donated raffle prizes, including Experience Days , Northumberland Zoo, Portofino Italian Restaurant, Beamish Museum, Bedlam Paintball, The Loveage in Jesmond, The Alchemist, Jaime Sports Therapy, Mikaela Korth Massage, Personal Trainer Alex, Beauts Bouquet, Bloom Wellbeing, Arnold Clark and Silent Adventure.

Andy says:

“I am 38, a trained actor and contemporary dancer who has worked with some of the UKs leading dance companies touring nationally and internationally for the last 15 years. I personally use my art as an opportunity to (and strongly align myself with companies who) raise awareness and champion: LGBTQIA+ visibility and stories, mental health and wellbeing, creative opportunities for underserved people and young people in society and inclusive practice.
I have never done anything like this before, but I’m so ready at this stage in my life to do something completely out of my comfort zone. I see this as a chance to use my voice in a completely different way and in a completely different environment. “
