wear blue in april for charlie and carter

Throughout April

This April, we're inviting you to make a bold statement and raise much needed funds by participating in Wear Blue for Charlie and Carter. There are so many ways to get involved but the main thing to remember is to have fun and support The Charlie and Carter Foundation!

💙 How You Can Get Involved:

Wear Blue with Pride: Incorporate blue into your daily wardrobe and let your outfit be a conversation starter. Whether it's a blue shirt, accessories, or even face paint, every shade counts!

Host a Blue-Themed Event: Organize a gathering, virtual or in-person, centered around the color blue. Encourage attendees to contribute a donation, and share the event on social media and tag us in!

Share Your Blue Moments: Take photos or videos of yourself and your friends wearing blue, and share them on social media with the hashtag #WearBlueForCCF. Let's turn social media blue and make our collective voice impossible to ignore.

Donate and Fundraise: Every contribution makes a difference. Consider making a personal donation or set up a fundraising page to encourage your friends and family to contribute.

💙 Where Your Support Goes:

The funds raised during Wear Blue for Charlie and Carter will directly support The Charlie and Carter Foundation, dedicated to relieving the financial burdens families face at the darkest of times. Allowing parents to be with and care for their sick child at a time that matters most, doing so without the financial constraints and additional burdens which would mean some parents having to work and missing precious last moments with their brave child who will sadly live a short a short life.

💙 Spread the Word:

Encourage your network to participate! Share this message with your friends, family, and colleagues, and let's create a ripple effect of positive change together.

📅 Save the date and get ready to wear blue with purpose! 💙

Snowdon at Sunrise

22 June 2024 - 23 June 2024

Are you looking for a unique physical challenge? The Charlie and Carter Snowdon at Sunrise Trek could be just the thing for you!

With our fully trained mountain guides, we are going to take you up Snowdon in the dark so you can see the sunrise as you climb!

Snowdon Facts

Distance: 9 miles - 14.5Km (there & back)

Ascent: 3,199 feet - 975 metres

Time: About 6 hours (there & back)

Grade: Medium

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and England. Its Welsh name, Yr Wyddfa, means tomb or monument. Legend has it that it is the tomb of the ogre Rhita Gawr, who supposedly met his end when King Arthur climbed to the top of Snowdon and killed him. Snowdon is a part of a close-knit family of jagged peaks and offers views across Snowdonia, Anglesey, Pembrokeshire, and Ireland. The whole area has been mined for copper since the Bronze Age, and you will find the ruins of old mine buildings and tramways across the whole mountain.

If you are moderately fit, climbing Snowdon is definitely within your reach. Although Snowdon is one of the highest mountains in the UK and the tallest mountain in Wales, it is probably the friendliest for the novice walker to ascend.

Registration is just £50 per person and we ask that you try to raise £150 in sponsorship to support The Charlie and Carter Foundation.

What is Included
Highly experienced mountain leaders (fully qualified and first aid trained)
Safety equipment (carried by your Mountain Leaders)
£5m Public Liability Insurance
£5m Professional Indemnity Insurance

If you have any queries please contact Laura on or call 0191 466 1428.
