Great North 10k Run 2015

On the 5th July 2015, many of our superb runners raised many vital funds for our foundation and joined 5000 people at the North East’s biggest 10k running event.

The origins of the Great North 10k can be traced back to 1977 and is an event that is considered to be the start of the ‘fun running’ revolution in the UK.

Passing some of the region’s most iconic landmarks such as the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, Sage Gateshead and the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art. Our runners finished the 10k run on the running track inside the Gateshead International Stadium.

We can’t thank them all enough for the incredible determination, commitment and support they all showed towards helping the Charlie Cookson Foundation continue to financially support the parents of seriously ill children with life limiting conditions.

Watch this space…Our grand total raised shall be announced real soon!!!
